Frenectomy
Sometimes a child can be born “tongue-tied.” This term refers to a condition in which the frenulum, a piece of tissue that connects two areas in your mouth, is too tight. In the case of children who are tongue-tied, the frenulum beneath their tongue is too tight. To relieve the condition we can surgically remove the frenulum.
Scaling and Root Planing
Scaling and root planing are intensive cleaning techniques used to remove plaque, tartar, and other irritants from the roots of your teeth. We do this to prevent tooth decay and also to reduce the chance of gum infections.
