We perform wisdom teeth extraction in our office. We begin monitoring the wisdom teeth when they begin to grow, usually at around age 16. If we see that the wisdom teeth are not going to grow correctly and will put your other teeth at risk, we’ll recommend having them removed.

The extraction is a surgical procedure as we need to make incisions in your gums to remove the wisdom teeth. After we’ve removed the wisdom teeth, we close the incisions with sutures.
